My name is Katia Kokoreva, I write to you today with a heart full of gratitude, as the founder of Milan Women Network, my journey to this point has been one of self-discovery and belief in the power of community. Here is my story. With a successful modeling career and a degree in psychology, I've experienced both the glamour of fashion and the complexities of human behavior. I travelled extensively and I know what it feels like to be surrounded by people , yet still feel alone. When I returned to Milan after years in New York, I felt profoundly disconnected. All my friends were elsewhere, and I realized, I might not be the only one feeling this way. In a world filled with digital connections, we often find ourselves longing for genuine, in-person interactions. Milan Women Network was born out of a desire to create a safe space where every woman, regardless of background or profession, could come together, support one another, share stories and find friendships. I firmly believe in the transformative power of personal growth. Stepping out of our comfort zones, embracing new experiences, and learning new skills are essential components of this journey. However, I know firsthand how scary it can be to do it alone. That's why I envisioned Milan Women Network—a community built on the principles of inclusivity, honesty, and respect. It is my sincere desire that every woman who joins us feels not only welcomed but also empowered to reach her full potential. I'll never forget our first official event—a simple picnic in the park. We were a small group , who did not know each other, and in just a few minutes of open conversation all the barriers melted away and we became friends. It was a powerful reminder that when we come together with purpose and authenticity, magic happens. I attend all of our events , I want to meet you in person, I want to hear your stories and I want to find ways to help you succeed! To our current members, thank you for believing in me and for making Milan Women Network what it is today. Your presence, your enthusiasm and support have been the driving force behind our success.
